Internal Social Media, first FEIEA event in Romania

For the first time ever in Romania, international communication experts talk about trends in the European PR industry at the Internal Social Media Workshop.

Part of FEIEA Academy series, the event will take place on 29 March, at the Ramada North Bucharest (Romania), starting 2 p.m.

Designed to reflect the recent changes in the PR industry, the event supports the cause of internal social media through presentations, round tables and case studies.

Session 1 An overview on internal comms: Case studies will show how embedding social media in human resources processes (recruitment, employer branding, training) leads to high employee engagement. Speakers will showcase successful strategies of change communication, enabling entrepreneurs in start-ups or SMEs, managers, HRs, marketers or communicators to build a stronger, collaborative employer brand.

Session 2 Social media in action: Debates will analyze a wide range of challenges derived from implementing social media strategies, and will focus on case studies of integrated campaigns using face to face, print, web1.0 and web 2.0. Top-practitioners will explain to communicators the different ways of measuring outcomes and outputs of internal social media campaigns based on real business scenarios.

Social media have definitely revolutionised external communication, but how do they impact internal communication? During the event in Bucharest, we will try offering several answers, by explaining the benefits of bilateral and transparent communication between managers and employees, but also communicators‘ fears generated by potential conflicts or comments that can affect the corporate image, says Steve Doswell, President of FEIEA.
